No type or style of fishing comes closer to hunting than fly fishing.  Stalk a school of permit, bonefish or tarpon on the flats while your heart races before you make the perfect double haul cast.  No other type of fishing is more dependant of the rod to land a fish.  Make sure your next flats slam is on a Blue Bay Fly Rod.  Fly rods are available in 1, 2 or 3 piece, 3-10 wt.

• Blank Selection:  Our fly rods start as Sage, MHX or St. Croix blanks.  Other blanks are available at the customer’s request.

• Guides and Top:  Fly rods are constructed with top quality guides and tops by Pacific Bay, Fuji or American Tackle.  All fly guides are single or double wrapped with 2-3 coats of finish epoxy and allowed 12 hours to dry between coats.

• Reel Seat:  Window Fly Seats with wood inlays from American Tackle or Dynawood and Woven Fly Seats from Pacific Bay.  These and many others are options for your one of a kind Blue Bay Fly Rod.

• Grips:  Grips can come in either EVA or cork.  All constructed to the customer’s specifications.

• Decorative Features: Customize your fly rod with but wraps, decals, marbling and/or feather inlays to name a few. Or just keep it simple and classy.  Sometimes less is more.  All fly rods come standard with a hook keeper.
